About Newhall Lamp and Shades

Newhall Lamp and Shades is owned by Bela and Mary Nagy. Bela and Mary have over 35 years of experience in the lighting industry. They are very excited to have their own store where they can serve all of Santa Clarita and surrounding valleys. Bela runs the store and does the repairs and house calls. Mary makes the beautifully handcrafted custom lampshades.

The store has a selection of lampshades, vintage lamps, floor lamps, sconces and hanging lights, as well as lots of lamp parts. If it's not in stock, they can most likely get it for you.

UPDATE: Sadly Mary passed away in March of 2021. Her daughter Victoria took over the lampshade recovering service for the business.

Our Philosophy

We know that today's customers have a lot of options to pick from. All the big chains and online stores are full of lamps and lighting fixtures. Here at Newhall Lamp and Shades we offer personalized service to our customers who would like a little help deciding on a lampshade or need a lamp repaired that's been in the family for generations. We take pride in our work and love a happy customer.

We also live in the Santa Clarita Valley and are looking forward to helping our neighbors and friends.
